YourCVMaker vs Careerflow: Compared (2026)

Careerflow calls itself a "career copilot" for a reason -- its free plan bundles a resume builder, a LinkedIn profile optimizer and a job/networking tracker into one account, something we don't try to match feature-for-feature. Here's what that free plan actually caps, what Premium costs once you need more than one of those tools, and where that breadth is a genuine reason to pick Careerflow over a focused resume builder -- verified against careerflow.ai's own site and help center today.

At a glance

This page compares YourCVMaker and Careerflow on free-plan limits, LinkedIn optimization, job tracking, AI access and pricing, verified against careerflow.ai and help.careerflow.ai on October 7, 2026.

Careerflow's free plan is capped to one resume with "limited" versions of nearly everything else -- job tracking, a networking tracker, document storage and application autofill are all present but capped, not absent, and a basic LinkedIn Optimizer is included at no cost. Premium ($23.99/month, or less billed less often) removes those caps and adds AI mock interviews on Premium Plus ($44.99/month). YourCVMaker charges one flat €9.99/month, builds unlimited resumes across 229 templates on Free, and has no LinkedIn-optimization or networking-tracker equivalent at all.

Where Careerflow is genuinely strong

The honest case for Careerflow is breadth: per its own help center, even the free plan ships a basic LinkedIn Optimizer and a job tracker alongside the resume builder, and Premium layers on a Networking Tracker and an AI LinkedIn post writer -- a job-search toolkit built around LinkedIn as much as around the resume itself. We don't have a LinkedIn-optimization feature at all; TalentBuzz is the closest thing we offer, and it's a different tool (an opt-in, anonymous candidate profile recruiters can search), not something that scores or rewrites your LinkedIn profile.

Careerflow also sells what we don't: a human-reviewed add-on. Its Expert Resume Review starts at $79 as a standalone purchase, and a bundled Resume Review + LinkedIn Makeover service is priced by experience level ($139/month for students, $174/month for professionals under 7 years, $399/month for 7+ years, per its own pricing and bundled-service pages). If a second pair of human eyes on both your resume and your LinkedIn profile is what you want, that's a real option Careerflow has and we don't try to replicate.

The free plan's real limit is breadth, not a hard wall

Careerflow's free tier doesn't block job tracking, networking tracking, document storage or application autofill outright -- its own help center describes all four as "limited" rather than absent, alongside one resume, a basic LinkedIn Optimizer and a Chrome extension, no card required. That's a materially different shape from a flat "pay to unlock" wall: you get a working version of almost everything, just capped. YourCVMaker's free tier runs the other way -- unlimited resumes across every one of our 229 templates, with the hard cap on the download side instead: exactly 1 ATS-friendly PDF per account (plain layout, small footer credit, no watermark), with Designer PDF, PNG and Word still requiring Pro. Neither of us gives away a fully unlocked free export; the difference is which half of the product gets capped.

Where YourCVMaker fits in

If LinkedIn optimization, a networking tracker, or a human-reviewed bundle are what you're actually looking for, Careerflow has all three today and we don't -- worth saying plainly rather than hedging around it. What YourCVMaker gives you instead is one flat €9.99/month with no separate week/quarter/year pricing ladder to compare, AI credits that refresh every month on Free rather than an unpublished "limited" cap, and an Advanced Editor on 215 of our 229 templates -- move, resize and restyle individual elements (text, photos, shapes, icons) on a real canvas, not just fill fields inside a fixed layout, while every template still exports back out as clean, ATS-parseable text. Every plan also builds a separate ATS-Friendly PDF alongside the Designer PDF from the same resume, checked with four automated tests before every release. Our own Job Tracker board (10 jobs free, unlimited on Pro) covers the same "track your applications" ground Careerflow's free tracker does, even without a LinkedIn-optimization layer on top. Our AI features run on Anthropic's Claude models, named explicitly in our Privacy Policy.
