Real Estate Agent Resume: Numbers That Sell
Real estate is a numbers business, and a resume that skips the numbers reads like an unlicensed guess. Brokerages hiring agents want production and pipeline, not "motivated self-starter."
What actually makes a difference
- Lead with your license state, license number, and any designations (GRI, CRS, ABR) — brokers scan for active licensing before anything else.
- Turn "sold homes" into a real number: transactions closed, total sales volume, or GCI (gross commission income) for the year — brokerages hire on production.
- Name the systems you've worked in (MLS, Zillow Premier Agent, Follow Up Boss, kvCORE) — many brokerage postings filter on the exact platform.
- If a meaningful share of your business comes from referrals or repeat clients, put the percentage — it's the strongest signal of a sustainable book of business.
