Build a Product Manager Resume That Gets Interviews

Free templates, ATS keywords, and resume tips written specifically for Product Manager roles.

Product manager resumes fail when they describe responsibilities instead of outcomes -- "managed the roadmap" says nothing a hiring manager can act on. What gets callbacks is evidence you shipped something that moved a real metric.

What actually makes a difference

  • Every bullet should carry a metric moved -- adoption rate, retention, revenue, or a specific % improvement -- not just a feature shipped.
  • Name the methodology (Agile, Scrum) and the tools (Jira, Amplitude, Figma) you used -- many PM postings filter on exact tool names.
  • Describe the cross-functional team size and stakeholders you coordinated -- engineering, design, sales -- it proves you can operate without direct authority.
  • If you killed a feature or said no to a request based on data, that's a strong, differentiated bullet -- most PM resumes only list what shipped.

Consider a short "Key Launches" subsection with 2-3 named products/features and their measured impact -- it's more scannable than folding launches into a generic work-history bullet list.
