Project Manager Resume: Examples & What Recruiters Actually Scan For
Project management is judged on outcomes delivered under real constraints — budget, deadline, team size. A resume that skips the constraints skips the proof.
What actually makes a difference
- Name your methodology (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, PMP) up top — it's one of the most common ATS keyword filters for this role.
- Every project bullet should carry a number: budget managed, team size, timeline, or percent delivered under/on schedule.
- List the tools by name (Jira, Asana, MS Project, Monday) — recruiters often search resumes for the exact tool their team uses.
- If you're PMP or CAPM certified, put it in the headline under your name, not buried in a certifications list at the bottom.
