Job Match & ATS Check: see what's missing
Paste a job description alongside your resume and get a concrete score for how ready it is — plus exactly what's missing — before you apply.
What it does
It checks your resume against a real job posting and reports a match score, missing keywords, and specific recommendations — not just a vague "looks good."
How it's made
It runs in two layers. The first is a free, offline check that runs the instant you open the page: a set of structural checkpoints scored directly against your resume data — full name present, professional title, quantified achievements, action verbs, skills organized by category, and more — with no network call and no AI involved. Pasting a job description and clicking "Check job match" additionally sends your resume and the job text to the AI, which returns a match score along with missing keywords and recommendations specific to that posting.
How to use it
- Make sure your resume is filled in through the builder first.
- Open Job Match & ATS Check.
- See your baseline structural score immediately — no job description required.
- Paste the job description you're targeting and click "Check job match."
- Review the missing keywords and recommendations, then go update your resume.
What you get
A checkpoint-by-checkpoint view of what's actually missing from your resume before you apply, grounded in your real content, not a guess.
