Quick Editor: build a resume step by step
The Quick Editor is the fastest way to go from nothing to a finished resume: pick a template, fill in a tabbed form, and watch the exact page you'll download update next to it in real time.
What it does
The Quick Editor is a three-column workspace: a tabbed form on the left (personal info, experience, education, skills and more), a live preview in the middle showing your resume in the template you picked, and an optional AI drawer on the right for help along the way.
How it's made
Every field in the form column writes directly into the same resume data object the preview pane renders from, so there is no separate "generate preview" step — each keystroke updates the page beside it immediately. Checking a field's checkbox queues it into a batched AI rewrite; the drawer itself has two tabs, one for an AI score of your current resume, one for the same AI Editor that can edit your resume through chat.
How to use it
- Pick a template on step 1 of the builder.
- Fill in the tabbed sections of the form column — personal info, experience, education, skills and more.
- Watch the live preview update as you type.
- Optionally check individual fields and run a batched AI rewrite, or open the Chat tab to describe changes instead of typing them.
- Continue to step 3 when you're ready to download.
What you get
A finished resume built entirely on one screen, with zero gap between what you type and what you'll actually download.
